Project Manual, Plans and Specifications:
See attached revised Sheet A4 and A5
- Delete the two handrails at the judge’s bench
- Change acrylic panels at the jury box to 3/8” tempered glass with safety film
- Extend glass panel support post to the ceiling beam
- Change hardwood beveled panel trim to hardwood decorative trim to match as closely as possible the existing trim
- The proposed panels do not have to match the existing raised wall panels
Section 12-6100 – Jury Box Seating – No extra materials for stock are required and shall be deleted from Section 2.2 (L).
Clarifications:
Q1: Is it possible to have a meeting on site to see the access route to the courtroom from the exterior of the building as well as existing site conditions?
A1: Yes. Any bidding contractors are welcome to attend a site visit on Monday, August 31st, at 9:00 a.m. Contractors shall gather at the main security entrance on the west side of the courthouse at 9:00 a.m. and proceed from there with an escort from the Facilities Department. Note, this is NOT a mandatory pre-bid meeting but it is highly encouraged that bidding contractors visit the site before bidding. Alternate meeting times can be made available if needed by contacting Gina LeCroy at the Facilities Department at the contact information provided in the project manual.
