CTB – The Late Edward Henry’s Legacy

The Late Edward Henry

EH and family

Simplicity is Honesty

TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA, April 30, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ — If you look back at the people who meant the most to you, who comes to mind? Is it someone you were close with, or someone you wasn’t always around, but they changed your life in the best way when they were? Did they lead you in the right direction without trying because that’s just the kind of person they were? Edward Henry, author of CTB – Stop CONvincing; Start Selling, had a person in his life who was the epitome of a leader, a man who helped him learn, grow, to lead others and live honestly.

Edward’s grandfather truly impacted his personal and professional life. Edward bases a great deal of how he started selling honest and creating CTB because of what he saw in his grandfather. Along with bringing many life lessons to the table, his grandfather’s character made him look back at himself and rethink whom he wanted to be. Sometimes the best people in your life don’t always impact you right away. It can take years or even one experience that brings you back to the person who was there all along.

“I used to say that my grandfather could walk in the door after getting hit by a car and sit down for supper. When asked how his day went, he would reply, ‘It was just fine.’ ” – Edward Henry in Chapter 16 of CTB – Stop CONvincing; Start Selling.

Edward’s grandfather was a simple man, and the key to him living with a positive mindset and straightforward life was honesty. The way he lived his life was the ultimate example of an honest individual who never cut any corners. Even after enlisting to join the Second World War, he always lived up to his promises and never changed who he was to please someone else. Without asking for anything in return, he was helpful, always there for his family, and didn’t have a selfish bone in his body.

“I explained to my staff how my grandfather was brilliant and could have done anything he wanted. Instead of going to university, he enlisted into the armed forces to fight in the Second World War, where he lost his hearing due to a friendly fire incident. He was always about taking care of his family and never had a selfish ambition. He kept his promises with a reputation of class, respect, honesty, and decency.” – Edward Henry in Chapter 4 of CTB – Stop CONvincing; Start Selling.

So what was next? Edward knew he wasn’t living up to his grandfather’s name the way he should’ve been. For most of his life, he was the complete opposite of his grandfather. As mentioned above, sometimes you realize how important someone is when you look back on how they lived their life and the positive influence on yours and think to yourself, “I need to change.” Edward adjusted how he did business and how he grew his relationships with those around him because of the example that his grandfather set for him. Edward’s business, Edward Henry Company, now focuses on cutting the bullsh*t (CTB) and selling honest. Selling honest is the most authentic way of defining yourself as a sales professional, and honesty will lead you through the life you were meant to live. “To my grandfather, the seeds that you have planted have finally grown.” You can download your copy of CTB – Stop CONvincing; Start Selling for free for a limited time by visiting: https://edwardhenry.ca/cut-the-bull/

‘Lives and Minds of C.W. Männe BINGE’ Releases Chapter 18 The Mirror

My mind was so turned inside out, that regardless the absurdity of circumstance, I resolved myself to believe, tipped by the thought that I should have been happier to be wrong…”

— C.W. Männe

ITHACA, NEW YORK, UNITED STATES, April 30, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ — Brainiac Productions LLC, Christopher William Mahne, and Sir David Michael Robinson today announced the release of Chapter 18 The Mirror from ‘Lives and Minds of C.W. Männe BINGE’ on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and audio content on Soundcloud and SFX video content on YouTube and IGTV.

Jacob is the younger C.W. and his mind is rejecting the claims, which on the surface seem insane. How can twins be separated by 30 years? Well, they were born together, but one stopped growing at 10 years old. This is the first indication that C.W. has a memory of who he is or who he was. Because it is really him speaking to some deeper part of himself, the information wells up in him, involuntarily. The idea that one twin has his heart on the right side and one has it on the left, is the symbol of a broken heart…the place where the two aspects of C.W. were originally split in the divorce.

Sir David stated that “Mahne and I kid each other that we are the inside-out versions of each other. That’s gone on for years, and here we played it out with the idea of a mirror of which C.W. is confronting Jacob, who is his exact opposite. In truth, the boy is the other half of C.W. he's the missing puzzle piece in C.W.'s fully expressed self. We really played this up with the idea that they each possess one half of the same heart; right hearted and left hearted twins.”

Mahne reminded us of a passage from one of his favorite poems "The Man in the Glass" written and in memory of Peter Dale Wimbrow Sr. "You may fool the whole world down the pathway of life and get pats on the back as you pass But your final reward will be heartaches and tears if you’ve cheated the man in the glass."

The Grangita is entitled ‘Faces of Evil.'

Book reviewers, bloggers, journalists, and other media contacts who would like to receive a copy and/or schedule an interview with the authors can email inquiries.

Global Nonviolent Film Festival

The logo of Global Nonviolent Film Festival features little girl dressed as a ballerina pointing to the writing "NO to violent films."

Global Nonviolent Film Festival: September 23 – October 3, 3021

The most important and renown nonviolent film festival in the world: September 23 to October 3, 2021.

HOLLYWOOD, CA, USA, April 30, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ — This is a milestone year for the Global Nonviolent Film Festival because it celebrates its 10th yearly edition.

When did it start and why?

The 11-day event came on the market in 2012 and it started in a resort city in Romania. In 2016 its founders, film director Bruno Pischiutta and film producer Daria Trifu, took the event online giving access to the world’s viewers to watch the high quality nonviolent films it showcases.

What type of films are shown at the Global Nonviolent Film Festival?

The public demand for nonviolent film as a genre has never been more strong. The films shown at the Global Nonviolent Film Festival are mostly independently made, and they do not contain any acts of gratuitous violence.

There are more and more people in the world who are simply tired of seeing imagined shootings, killings, and torture on the ‘big screen’. They instead look for more than just simple entertainment: they look to discover new talent, new places, different cultures, and to broaden their horizons.

What sets this Festival apart?

What sets this Festival apart are the films it shows.

There are over 15,000 film festival in the world today. It certainly isn’t easy to stand-out, but the Global Nonviolent Film Festival did just that: it stood-out of the crowd by identifying and sticking to a niche market of nonviolent films, more exactly films that do not contain gratuitous violence.

When they started, it wasn’t easy denying access to films, especially when they were very high quality and sometimes even Studio pictures, if they contained gratuitous acts of violence. Saying ‘no’ to temptation and allowing the event to grow naturally, took time but it was the right thing to do.

How did COVID impact the event in 2020?

This terrible pandemic had an unexpected positive effect on the Festival. In a year when every other film festival in the world had to cancel or postpone their editions, the Global Nonviolent Film Festival saw a major rise in both film submissions and viewers. This happened because it was already a well established and smoothly running online event, and it required no change in its structure or setting. The organizers had simply to adapt to the three-times higher than usual amount of films and daily presentations, but there were no hiccups and everything ran surprisingly well.

Last year, the Festival screened 66 films from 30 countries. Of those, there were 11 world premieres. It was a record number.

What can we expect from this year’s edition?

Again, a lot of great nonviolent movies, documentaries, animation and music videos. These films are new, some of them have never been seen before.

Where can the Festival be watched?

The web address is www.globalnonviolentfilmfestival.com. This is where all the films, trailers and Daily Presentations are broadcast.

What happens during the 11-day event?

The schedule of the 11-day event goes as follows:

On September 23 all the films selected go live on the Festival’s online channel. This way, the public can watch any of them at the time of their choosing.

Each day, a new video presentation goes live on the channel. That’s the event’s Daily Presentation where the organizers discuss and highlight one or more of the presented films accompanied by trailer(s). This way, the public has the chance to learn more about the films and their filmmakers.

On Monday, October 4, the Awards Presentation goes live on the channel. This give the filmmakers and the public the chance to celebrate the winners.

All films remain available for viewing on the channel for an additional week following the end of the event. This gives everyone the chance to focus on the awarded ones.

The trailers of the films and the Daily Presentations remain available on the channel for one full year. This gives additional promotion to the films.

How much does it cost to watch the films?

The trailers are free to watch and so are the Daily Presentations with commentary about the participating films.

The rest of the channel works on a pay-per-view basis where one can choose and pay for the film they wish to watch individually. Prices go from $3.99 to $13.99.

There are weekly VIP passes available for the event too. They give the possibility to the people to watch any number of films they choose for a period of seven days from the date of purchase.

What is globalcinema.online?

Globalcinema.online is a unique pay-per-view channel showcasing films & documentaries that do not contain gratuitous violence. It is available worldwide.

Every film selected at the Global Nonviolent Film Festival receives worldwide distribution with very favorable financial terms trough Globalcinema.online. This new reality makes for a win-win situation for all parties involved: the public, the filmmakers, and the Festival.

Who are the Festival’s media partners?

Daria!, the arts, entertainment and business magazine established in 2005 is the principal media partner of the Global Nonviolent Film Festival. The magazine is available online at www.dariamagazine.com. In each annual edition, there are articles about the participating films and interviews with the filmmakers.

Another media partner is IndieActivity Magazine, published by journalist Oladapo Bamidele. The magazine provides the daily coverage of the Festival followed by interviews with all the awarded filmmakers. The magazine is also available online at www.indieactivity.com.

It is notable to mention that the Global Nonviolent Film Festival is recognized by the IMDB and all the awards are listed there as well as inter-connected to the respective films’ and filmmakers’ profiles.

How can filmmakers submit their work?

They can do so via FilmFreeway at:

How can anyone contact the Festival?

Anyone, from filmmakers to journalists and to the general public, may contact the Global Nonviolent Film Festival at info@nonviolentfilmfestival.com. All messages receive a personalized reply and the organizers are happy to provide all the support and assistance needed.

New OPUS Video "Fake Or True"

The Austrian "Live Is Life" band releases an ornate video

GRAZ, STYRIA, AUSTRIA, April 30, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ — For the video shoot of the new Opus song 'Fake Or True', the band members had an ambitious vision in mind: reviewing the group’s own history is all well and good, but wouldn’t it be amazing to slip into the crisp figure of yourself 36 years younger, doing cartwheels across the stage again…? Nothing easier than that, in times of "Deepfake" and seemingly unlimited digital possibilities…

As it turned out, however, we didn't want to afford the costs for the London animation team doing the whole video, and anyway, why not quickly put on the old overalls and try doing some cartwheels ourselves? Together with Johann Steinegger / Postl Film and our companions from back then (Niki Gruber, Günter Timischl), we took a little trip back in time to the "Live Is Life" video shoot from February 1985, and it was obviously a lot of fun! Now it's time to share this joy with you:

We are really looking forward to seeing you again at one of our live events on the Goodbye Tour and to celebrate goodbyes together!

Quirky Underdog Comedy Podcast Makes a Pact to Release 100 Episodes Before Quitting

Amy Jans and Dominic Leonelli filming the pod!

Amy Jans and Dominic Leonelli filming the pod!

Artists in the pandemic have had to morph into digital marketers! Already on episode 32, comedians Dominic Leonelli and Amy Jans aren't quitting this time!

NEW YORK CITY, UNITED STATES, April 30, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ — Pre-pandemic, the formula for working on your craft as a comedian equaled write a lot plus perform a lot equals growth. Today, something totally unrelated has become related- digital marketing and social media management. New York comedians Dominic Leonelli and Amy Jans created a comedy podcast, Good Afternoon Planet Earth, to find a way to still create in the quarantine. Episodes are released every Monday on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and iHeartRadio Podcasts.

One year ago, Jans and Leonelli spent their days editing, writing, and filming their digital project, Good Afternoon Planet Earth, GAPE-TV- while trying to make ends meet, work, and live stand-up comedy in New York City. After little to no views, they got discouraged and stopped GAPE-TV all together.

When the pandemic hit, they knew that this was a chance to better their online presence. They re-launched their show, Good Afternoon Planet Earth-GAPE-TV, into a podcast and web series filmed remotely. They made a pact to film 100 episodes before quitting this time! Follow them to see if they achieve their goal of making 100 episodes and if these creatives can figure out the business side of running a podcast.

Jans, who just graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in December, said she uses her advertising degree the most in her life with co-producing this podcast. She said that they're still figuring out how to gain an audience for GAPE-TV. "I can write and brainstorm ideas all day. The hard part is that none of it matters if you can't figure out SEO and the technical side of getting your podcast heard. Producing a podcast has helped me learn so many different skills. You have to learn all aspects of pre-production, production, and post-production. This includes editing, graphic design, copywriting, SEO, branding, public relations, community management, social media management, development, writing, sound design, admin, talent booker… The list goes on! But hey, that's every artist in the digital age." Leonelli said "the tech side isn't easy. For a comic producing a podcast, it's like being a bricklayer one day, and to get your paycheck- you got to become a chemical engineer."

About Good Afternoon Planet Earth:
Good Afternoon Planet Earth is a comedic podcast and web series starring NYC-based comedians Amy Jans and Dominic Leonelli. GAPE-TV is short for "Good Afternoon Planet Earth." It's the only afternoon show that's filmed in the morning and aired at night! New episodes every Monday on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Pandora, Spotify, and iHeartRadio.

They talk about a wide range of topics, including a comedic recap of their week, debatable issues, and the occasional guest artist in any genre! What sets Good Afternoon Planet Earth apart from other podcasts is their unique perspective on life. Pretension goes out of the window with GAPE-TV. They don't give pretension; they receive it!
